This is the best app I have found for NY region news. Like the layout & runs smoothly too.
This is the best app I have found for NY region news. Like the layout & runs smoothly too.
Unlike other news apps, this one does not give users the ability to save, email, or text a story. The only sharing options are FB, Twitter and Google+.
If you enjoy getting daily news alerts on the latest deadly fires, cop shootings, missing children, murder investigations, and any other morbid "news"-related curiosities, this app is for you.
Even with this update and fixes this app still dont work on a iOS 6, it opens but dont show any news or video, just ads
Really? A Redesign and no support for the iPhone 6/6 Plus...?
The upgrade of this app is useless! The navigation is difficult in the sense that theres no rhyme or reason to the layout plus I still cant find the traffic section. Will be deleting these waste of data!
Do not like the update. Its hard to navigate through it? As well as where is the live stream option??? Fix it!!!
Gotta fix the videos it hasnt played since the update
Almost half of the time that I click on a story I want to read it starts to load and then I get a message asking me if I want to download the app or continue to the story. I dont like ads, but I understand that theyre necessary. However, why is it the only ad that I ever receive is asking me to download an app that I am currently trying to read a story on?!? It doesnt make any sense. And quite honestly I can just delete this app and keep the abc ny app that isnt annoying at all.
User Interface has tanked. Counter-intuitive. The tile-like gui of before was great. This update is also far too video focused which is not what i come to an app for. I, like most NYers, come for quick access to info on the go. This update will lead to me using the app FAR less. Sorry guys. Change doesnt mean improvement.
The News Live Stream always ends too soon. Please Fix!
The new app is extremely clean and user-friendly. I love the continuous scroll feature and the heavy focus on weather. This version is much more visually appealing than the last and better displays all the news stories. I dont even notice the ads. Ive even seen photos Ive submitted through the app appear on TV with my name below them!
Why limit iOS platforms? Do you work for apple? Now not even reloading older version works! Guess Ill get my new elsewhere and submit my news info to them
Love the swipe right for trending stories. Easy to share content too. Weather is right on the home screen - LOVE IT!
Ads that dont obey the silence button? Not gonna deal with that.
Be aware if you want the app for the NY area, what appears first in the iPhone app srore is the NBC4 app which is acutally for the Cleavland area. Easy to get confused and download wrong app.
Unbelievable that theres no landscape mode to watch your videos. Doesnt make sense terrible!!!
Current version is crashing.
I dont understand why the app is so buggy right after a performance update? Every time I try to view the live video, my app closes. Every time I click on a notification for the app, a video starts playing immediately. Please fix!
